Rodion contrasts his experiences in developing IT solutions outside shipping with those inside, highlighting the technical and cultural obstacles. Digitalisation adds value, he says, through prediction, but only if there is data transparency, so hiding data results in losing value. Becoming Podium Connected permits data to be applied, bringing value to the entire logistics chain and in the near future he believes we will be applying data in ways we can’t imagine today.
