Dear StratumFive / FleetWeather Clients, Partners, and Suppliers,

In light of the growing concerns related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the StratumFive group is continuing to monitor the status of the outbreak. Our leadership team has prepared a number of contingencies to minimise the risk and avoid disruption to our global business operations as well as to our valued clients.

Our highest priority is the health and safety of every member of the community, including our employees, clients (at sea and ashore), partners and suppliers, while maintaining the resiliency of our business.  As part of this commitment, we have now successfully transitioned all employees to work from home globally.

We do not anticipate any issues with fulfilment of services or supply of hardware systems. We remain confident that, between our risk mitigation efforts and highly resilient cloud-based infrastructure, plus the hardware inventory on hand, we will continue to be able to support our valued clients without complication.

Please be assured that we have the infrastructure, procedures and safeguards in place to continue delivering the highest level of service, customer care and technical support at all times. All of StratumFive’s networks and platforms are hosted in the cloud and are fully expected to continue uninterrupted.

Our 24/7/365 support team and meteorological operations centres are geographically spread across our US, UK and NZ offices, and have the full capability to operate seamlessly through remote work from any location.

We are aware that a number of clients around the world will similarly be transitioning to work from home, and we are particularly well-placed to assist should any company require additional support with remote fleet monitoring from home.  Please do not hesitate to make contact if we can assist you with any such requirements, we will do our utmost to help.

As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to escalate globally, the StratumFive group continues to comply with all travel, quarantine and contact restrictions required by national, regional and local health authorities and is minimising all non-essential business travel until further notice.

We will continue to assess the situation daily, reevaluate our business continuity protocols, and provide further updates when required (as the unprecedented situation unfolds further over the coming weeks and months).

From myself and the rest of the StratumFive global team, I would like to thank you for your understanding, confidence and cooperation during these unprecedented times.

Stay safe, stay well, and take care.

Sincerely,

Ross Martin
