StratumFive has signed the Neptune Declaration, along with many others in the shipping industry, in support of the demand for a resolution to the ongoing crew relief crisis.
We hope, at the very least, the strength of the declaration communicates the respect and genuine concern the industry has for the well being of the seafarers so severely impacted by the restrictions on crew exchanges caused by the pandemic. This needs to be communicated to them.
More importantly we need to find ways to attract the attention of those outside the shipping community to the extent of this crisis. We are pleased to support the efforts of the Global Maritime Forum and all signatories to make sure action follows declaration.
